Mark Clifton Ph.D., B.S

Mark Clifton is the Executive Director of the North Shore Mosquito Abatement District outside of Chicago, Illinois. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Eastern Connecticut State University and his Ph.D. from Florida International University where he studied the reproductive endocrinology of the yellow fever mosquito Aedes aegypti. Currently, Mark serves as the North Central Regional Director for the American Mosquito Control Association, Executive Board member of the Illinois Vector and Mosquito Control Association as well as the chairperson of the AMCA Endangered Species Subcommittee.
