Scientific Manager/Entomologist, Anastasia Mosquito Control District of St. Johns County FL

My expertise and training are in vector ecology and behavior and applied operational vector control strategies. I have over 10 years of experience working at the local and state level in mosquito surveillance and control. My recent position with the Texas Department of State Health Services, as the State Medical Entomologist, had me coordinating and providing subject matter expertise to over 281 entities that have some capacity for mosquito control. I worked extensively with mosquito control programs across the US and served as the Texas representative in the National Association of Vector Control Officials. Currently, I am the Scientific Manager/Entomologist for Anastasia Mosquito Control District of St. Johns County, FL where I manage a team of 14 scientists that focus on operational vector control research.
